And i have understood that blogs are "first hand experiences" that pop up when we request for such information. They assume prime importance as people want to know how people had reacted when they were in a similar predicament. And that is why in most of the cases , people prefer reading human experiences rather than huge information repositories maintained by even bigger machines.
So it basically boils down to the satisfaction one derives from reading material published by man as it gives the reader an "At Home" feeling that no machine in the world can give.
